Last weekend I hiked my 3rd 14’er! This time we hiked up the highest mountain in Colorado, Mt. Elbert. It was a nice short 4 mile hike but had a hefty 4000 foot vertical gain. The uphill part was pretty brutal, it reminded me of Incline (not that I’ve actually hiked up incline 😉 ). Oh and let’s not forget that it has to hail, rain, thunderstorm, or be super windy… Why can’t we just have a normal hike? Anyways, the photos are up for everyone to look at. Oh and check out the profile of my hike from my GPS. I’m not quite sure what happened on the way down!

Thursday, July 21st, 2005I’ve put a new album up of my photos from last weekends hike up Mt. Harvard. That makes 2 14ers for those of you that are counting. We drove up Saturday afternoon and camped around 10,000 feet. The last time I went camping was somewhere in the Black Hills with Brian and Sean on our crazy trip around the country. This was a little less cold and a lot more work.
